Time to get from climate to green – from green to SDG finance

Some ten years ago, after the financial crisis 2007-2008, several thought leaders urged politicians to mainstream climate and environmental considerations into the financial recovery packages. That time, we failed, rather miserably in accelerating a green transformation of our societies. This time, with less than ten years to reach the Sustainable Development Goals of Agenda 2030, we do not have the luxury to repeat those mistakes.

Reconnect with nature – are you trying to be funny?

Reconnecting with nature sounds bizarre, tempting and yet contradictory – almost like fresh frozen, friendly fire….. . Aren´t we part of nature – how arrogant can we be, imagining that we would somehow be outside or above nature? But simultaneously, if my generation cannot find the “way back to the garden” as Joni Mitchell used to sing, and prevent our kids to get detached from the miracles of the nature from the start, I tell you we are heading for trouble.
