As a child I dreamt of becoming an archaeologist but ended up studying social and cultural anthropology instead. It combined qualitative research, figuring out the diversity of the human experience and the possibility to do fieldwork – I was sold!
I started my career in digital start-ups both in Finland and in Africa. I have also worked with commercialisation of research and development of innovation capacities. I strongly believe that bringing the human perspective into technological knowledge creates sustainable and profitable business.
In Gaia I mainly work with projects done in the public sector, topics ranging from textile waste to youth sport. Working for Gaia combines solving complex challenges, creating sustainable business and caring for the world – it is a privilege to do such meaningful work!
